At the moment, anyone who so much as exchanged some light email banter with Epstein can expect to face instant, ostentatious censure. For what crime, one might ask? The answer is seldom articulated with any precision, other than a general certitude that this depraved past association must attest to some spiritual (and perhaps literal) guilt. Mere proximity to Epstein, whether physical or digital — and no matter how fleeting the interaction — consigns the newly damned to be maligned as Pedophile Enablers, would-be Child Sex-Traffickers, or perhaps even culpable in child-sex criminality themselves. No actual crimes need be verified, nor even specifically alleged, for the castigations to come thundering down.

Хотелось бы услышать от ФБР (а не в пересказе Ассошиэтейд Пресс), что именно они нашли и почему они считают, что Эпштейн не поставлял девочек своим друзьям, когда имеющиеся в публичном доступе фотографии и емайлы указывают на обратное.
Наконец, не могу не отметить, что контр-интуитивным как раз является заключение ФБР. Так что довольно странно обвинять в истерии и охоте на ведьм тех, кто не готов в это заключение верить без публичного расследования или хотя бы подробного доклада от ФБР.

Если он организовывал на своем острове вечеринки с участием миллионеров и фотомоделей, то есть ли в этом состав преступления?

Подумал, и наверное оно естественно, если считать что все мужчины (ну или только знаменитые люди) - мечтают потрахать несовершеннолетних. Я так не считаю, наверное, потому что сам не мечтаю. Причем, я очень даже люблю трахать молодых девушек. Но зачем нужно именно несовершеннолетних? Разве они чем-то лучше для секса? По-моему так хуже.
То есть, педофилия - это на самом деле редкое заболевание. На мой взгляд, естественно предположить и что оно редкое среди власть предержащих (т.е. не считать что именно педофилы каким-то образом все пролезли во власть). И соответственно, то, что условный принц Эндрю был не прочь поразвлечься с Эпштейном на его оргиях, совершенно не значит что этому принцу Эндрю были нужны его девочки 13-15 лет (или сколько там, я не слежу).
