I think what a lot of people are confused about is the apparent disconnect bt the charges/conviction of Epstein/Maxwell on sex trafficking but the absence of any johns. How can there be sex trafficking w/o them?
Brown Finder
They were convicted of trafficking to themselves, they were the johns. But people think trafficking implies ebay for prostitutes, not just a wire of money to a prostitute.

I just looked up specifically what he was charged w & what she was convicted of, and you're right, it only seems to be about themselves. Idk why most of us didn't know that. That doesn't preclude there being others, I suppose, but it does suggest the evidence was limited to that.

Sarah Longwell: "a convicted child sex predator who did jail time for sex trafficking of minors"
Cathy Young: "a well-connected guy who had pled guilty to trafficking a minor"
Один лишь "редкий паразит"^ Michael Tracey продолжает упорно биться за правду: "Jeffrey Epstein was never convicted of "sex trafficking." You can ascribe whatever foul motives you want for my pointing this out, but that won't change the facts, which are that Epstein was never convicted of "sex trafficking." Yet the media constantly repeats this factual error".
The [witch] trials occurred most often in the borderlands between Catholic and Protestant regions, territories in which religious authorities had to compete for the loyalty of their flocks. In the borderlands between France and Germany, villages that were Catholic and Protestant were walking distance from one another. Religious leaders, anxious that their followers may defect to a neighbouring Church with a different confessional, persecuted witches to display their moral authority and demonstrate that their Church could protect people from Satan. In other words, witch trials served as a form of marketing during the Reformation and Counter-Reformation.
In places where one faith dominated, such as Catholic Spain, witch trials didn’t happen (heretics were persecuted by the Inquisition instead). But where belief was contested in the borderlands between France and Germany, theatrical displays of moral authority became essential. The witch hunt was never really about rooting out evil, it was about signalling power and moral legitimacy.
"If you forced me to give you my best guess, I think this guy had a lot of powerful friends, and that he was a predator and a pedophile, and those sides of his life were mostly separate.
I don’t think there is a list of boldfaced names. The reason I don’t think there is a list is that there have been a lot of big law firms hunting for cases here. There is a lot of money to be made in suing anyone connected to Epstein. Very, very powerful firms — to say nothing of media organizations — that are capable of hiring excellent investigators are just not finding much."

Date: 2026-02-05 06:26 pm (UTC)JEFFREY EPSTEIN was arrested Saturday and charged with sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors. The indictment unsealed today alleges that, between 2002 through 2005, EPSTEIN sexually exploited and abused dozens of underage girls by enticing them to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money. Epstein allegedly worked with several employees and associates to ensure that he had a steady supply of minor victims to abuse, and paid several of those victims themselves to recruit other underage girls to engage in similar sex acts for money.

Within Epstein conspiracy circles, Acosta’s quote is assumed to be settled fact, even if some details have been forgotten with time. But the quote’s sanctity is belied by its flimsy foundation: it can be traced to a single anonymous source in a 2019 Daily Beast article by the journalist Vicky Ward.
Ward recounted a conversation she had with a “former senior White House official” a couple of years prior. According to this mysterious official, Epstein’s name had come up when Alex Acosta was being interviewed by the Trump transition team for the role of Labor Secretary. Acosta allegedly explained that he’d signed off on the controversial plea deal because he had been told that Epstein “belonged to intelligence,” was above Acosta’s pay grade, and to back off. Contrary to the confident assertions of influencers, the quote was allegedly uttered behind closed doors, and certainly not in congressional testimony, on the record, publicly, or to reporters.
"The answer is no, and no".

Date: 2026-02-05 09:00 pm (UTC)OPR received and reviewed written responses from all of the subjects, and subsequently conducted extensive interviews of each subject under oath and before a court reporter.
At a July 31, 2007 meeting with Epstein’s attorneys, the USAO offered to end its investigation if Epstein pled guilty to state charges, agreed to serve a minimum of two years’ incarceration, registered as a sexual offender, and agreed to a mechanism through which victims could obtain monetary damages.
On July 10, 2019, Acosta held a televised press conference to defend his and the USAO’s
actions. Acosta stated that the Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office “was ready to allow Epstein to walk free with no jail time, nothing.” According to Acosta, because USAO prosecutors considered this outcome unacceptable, his office pursued a difficult and challenging case and obtained a resolution that put Epstein in jail, forced him to register as a sexual offender, and provided victims with the means to obtain monetary damages.
With respect to all five subjects of OPR’s investigation, OPR concludes that the subjects did not commit professional misconduct with respect to the development, negotiation, and approval of the NPA.
OPR found no clear and unambiguous standard that required Acosta to indict Epstein on federal charges or that prohibited his decision to defer prosecution to the state. Furthermore, none of the individual terms of the NPA violated Department or other applicable standards.
OPR did not find evidence that his decision was based on corruption or other impermissible considerations, such as Epstein’s wealth, status, or associations. Evidence shows that Acosta resisted defense efforts to have the matter returned to the state for whatever result state authorities deemed appropriate, and he refused to eliminate the incarceration and sexual offender registration requirements.

Date: 2026-02-05 09:13 pm (UTC)...OPR concludes that Acosta’s decision to resolve the federal investigation
through the NPA constitutes poor judgment. Although this decision was within the scope of
Acosta’s broad discretion and OPR does not find that it resulted from improper factors, the NPA
was a flawed mechanism for satisfying the federal interest that caused the government to open its
investigation of Epstein.
